In the Bible, 1st Samuel 16:7 teaches a powerful message about perception and judgment. "But the Lord said to Samuel, 'Do not look at his appearance or at the height of his stature, because I have rejected him; for God sees not as man sees, for man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.'" This passage explains that while humans often judge based on external factors, such as looks, titles, social status, etc.,God evaluates individuals based on their inner qualities and intentions. This scripture serves a reminder to look beyond superficial traits and recognize the deeper attributes that define a person's character. This teaching encourages us to nurture a heart that values integrity, kindness, and authenticity over mere appearances. 💭Take five to fifteen minutes to meditate on this verse and examine your heart's motive. Are you seeking to please God and obey His statutes, or seeking human applause based on fear and recognition.  Have a blessed week ahead💪🏽Fred, Devotion Leader.

This verse highlights and declares that no barrier is too high and no enemy force is too strong when you are operating within divine purpose. Lean and Rely on God's Power rather than human limited ability. Action point: reflect 💭back and think of a time when you've overcome a major hurdle or obstacle in life. How did you get through it? How can you use the outcome of that situation to build momentum to trust God completely and give Him all the praise? If He did it before( come through in strength, might, and power), surely He can do it again. Have a great weekend!💪🏽Fred, Devotion Leader.

In the book of John, chapter 4, verse 24, we encounter a true statement about the nature of worship: "God is a Spirit, and His worshipers must worship in spirit and in truth." This verse emphasizes that true worship goes beyond mere rituals, performance, and external practices; it requires a genuine connection with God. To worship in spirit means to engage our hearts and minds fully, recognizing the divine Holy Spirit that resides in us. Worshiping in truth involves aligning our beliefs and actions with God’s revelation and understanding of Himself. Together, these elements highlight the authenticity in our relationship with God, reminding us that it's not just about our actions but the heart behind them. Action Point: As we 💭 about  this verse, may we all be encouraged to live out a deeper, more meaningful worship experience that honors God in both spirit and truth. Have a great weekend.💪🏽 Fred, Devotion Leader.

Psalm 42:1 captures the deep longing of the soul for connection. It states, "As the deer pants for streams of water, so my soul pants for you, my God." This illustrates not just a physical thirst, but a deep spiritual yearning. Just as a deer seeks water in the heat of the day, we too crave the refreshing Presence of God in our lives. In times of distress or weariness, we often find ourselves searching for rest and renewal. Psalm 42 reminds us that true refreshment comes from turning to God, finding peace in His Presence , and allowing our spirits to be revived through faith and prayer. When we nurture this relationship, we discover the sustenance our souls need to thrive, renewing our strength and lifting our burdens.  Action Point💭: As we reflect on this verse, let us remember to seek that living water that quenches our deepest thirst, bringing hope and restoration to our weary hearts. Rest in God on today, and remain blessed! Fred, Devotion Leader💪🏽.

Romans 6:23 states, "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." This verse states truth about the consequences of sin and the incredible grace offered to humanity. In this brief statement, Paul contrasts the outcome of a life separated from God with the divine gift of salvation. Sin, which can be understood as any action or thought that goes against God’s laws, leads to spiritual death and separation from Him. ( Pause and briefly 💭 about the goodness of God and His wonderful 🎁 of redemption👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽. We truly have a reason to give God thanks for providing a Way back to Him.) This verse emphasizes that God offers us a gift—a chance for eternal life made possible through Jesus Christ. This illustrates not only the seriousness of sin but also the depth of God's love, as He desires a relationship with us and provides a way back to Him. It's a reminder that, regardless of our past, there is hope and redemption available to all who accept this gift in faith. Action point: May we daily show our total love and appreciation to God for giving us eternal life through His Son Jesus🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽!!!! Be blessed this week! Fred, devotion leader.

Whether facing personal struggles, workplace challenges, or social anxieties, this verse can remind us all to rely on the power, love, and sound judgment given by God. We exhort you on today  to meditate on this scripture during times of fear or doubt, allowing it to guide your thoughts and emotions. 2nd  Timothy 1:7 is a powerful reminder that fear does not define us. Action point:💭 When fear or doubt shows up, what will you do differently based on this reflection devotional? Have a great weekend, Fred, devotion leader💪🏽.

Proverbs 4:7 teaches us that wisdom overrules mere knowledge and intellectual capability. True wisdom involves a deeper understanding of life, seen through the lens of God’s purpose. This perspective encourages us to align our actions and decisions with His will, navigating life’s challenges with discernment and grace. Instead of solely relying on our own intellect, we are invited to seek God's guidance, allowing our understanding to grow in a way that reflects His intention for us. By inviting this divine insight into our daily lives, we receive a wisdom that enriches our personal journeys and positively influences those around us. Clarity and wisdom becomes a tool for aligning ourselves with God's purpose and living out our faith authentically. Action point: Read a scripture from the Book of Proverbs this week and ask God to give you godly insight to help you with decision making and align with His purpose he Has in store for you. Fred, devotion leader.💪🏽

Joshua 24:15 is a powerful verse from the Old Testament. In this verse, Joshua challenges the Israelites to choose whom they will serve: the gods of their ancestors or the God of Israel who delivered them from Egypt. The full verse states: "But if serving the Lord seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord. "When Joshua declares, "As for me and my household, we will serve the Lord," he sets an example of unwavering commitment. This declaration is not only personal but serves as a call to lead by example, urging families and communities to take a stand. Joshua's decision  demonstrates that true faith involves a willingness to reject wordly pressures and choose a path of righteousness, regardless of popular cultural norms. We encourage you to choose wisely and serve the Lord with boldness and commitment. Have a blessed week ahead💪🏽. Fred, devotion leader.

John 3:16 states: "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth  in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life." This powerful message reveals the unconditional love of God and His desire for every person to experience salvation(2nd Peter 3:9). It emphasizes that through belief in Jesus, individuals can receive forgiveness for their sins and the gift of everlasting life. Amen and Glory to God! This offer of salvation is not based on human merit but is extended to everyone, highlighting God's Amazing Grace. Embracing this message means accepting Jesus as Lord and Savior, trusting in His sacrifice, and committing to a life that reflects His teachings. This promise of salvation brings hope, transforms lives, and encourages believers to share this good news with others. We 🙏🏽 you receive God's love and the life-changing impact of faith in Jesus Christ today. Expect a mighty move of God this week! Fred💪🏽, Devotion leader.

When we talk about "Seeking first the Kingdom of God," we refer to a biblical principle found in Matthew 6:33. This passage encourages individuals to prioritize their spiritual lives and relationship with God above all else. By putting God first, believers are invited to align their lives with His will, which leads to deeper fulfillment and purpose. Prioritizing God's Kingdom means not just attending church or engaging in religious activities, but it involves a commitment to living according to His teachings, nurturing our faith, and actively participating in community and service. As we focus our efforts on building a sincere relationship with God, it empowers us to navigate life’s challenges with a sense of peace and direction. Seeking first the Kingdom of God isn't a one-time decision; it's a pressing forward journey of faith that shapes our lives, influences our choices, and impacts those around us. Have a productive week forward💪🏽.Fred~ Devotion leader.

"I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the increase." This scripture highlights the collaborative efforts in fostering spiritual growth. As individuals, we play vital roles—planting seeds of faith and nourishing them through encouragement. Ultimately, it is God who nurtures these seeds to fruition. Only God knows the hearts of each person, understanding their unique struggles and future outcome. In this journey of spiritual development, we are reminded that while we can guide and support, the true transformation lies in divine intervention. Our efforts may be significant, but the real increase in the lives of others comes through the spiritual work that only God can accomplish. Let us trust in His plan and seek to connect meaningfully with those around us, being instruments of His love and growth in their lives. We pray you have a great weekend and be blessed. Fred, devotion leader.

A broken and contrite O God you will not despise. This statement reminds us that genuine inward repentance holds far greater value to God than any outward display of religious formality. In our fast-paced world, it is easy to fall into the trap of going through the motions of faith—attending services, reciting prayers, and participating in rituals—while neglecting the true state of our hearts. However, God desires authenticity and sincerity over hollow acts. He welcomes those who come to Him with humility, acknowledging their flaws and shortcomings. When we approach God with a spirit of brokenness and contrition, we open ourselves to His grace and forgiveness. This type of repentance isn't about feeling guilty or ashamed; rather, it's about recognizing our need for God and inviting Him to transform us from the inside out. Remember, the beauty of our faith lies not in how we appear on the outside, but in our genuine relationship with God. Let us strive to cultivate hearts that are truly repentant, for it is this sincere attitude that draws us closer to Him.Have a great week.💪🏽Blessings, Fred.

"His Mercies are new every morning." This simple yet profound verse in lamentations 3:23,  reminds us that each day brings with it a fresh start. No matter the challenges we faced yesterday or the mistakes we made, the dawn of a new day provides an opportunity for renewal and hope. It encourages us to let go of past burdens and embrace the grace that God offered to us anew. Every morning is a chance to lean on our Heavenly Father to reset our minds, redirect our paths, and recommit to faithfulness and growth. As we rise each day, let us be mindful of the mercies that grace our lives, igniting our hearts with gratitude and inspiring us to share kindness with those around us. In this fast-paced world, take a moment to reflect on the beauty of new beginnings, and remember, tomorrow is always filled with the promise of His love and mercy. Have a great weekend. Fred💪🏽

The Phrase "I am fearfully and wonderfully made," taken from Psalm 139:14, speaks volumes about our intrinsic value and the purpose behind our creation. When the psalmist, believed to be King David, penned these words, he was reflecting on the profound manner in which God creates each person. The term "fearfully" indicates a sense of reverence and awe, suggesting that our creation is not a matter of chance but rather an intentional act designed with care and significance. In contrast, "wonderfully made" signifies that there is a remarkable intricacy to our existence, highlighting both our physical attributes and our emotional and spiritual depths.

This verse invites us to appreciate our individuality and the personal attention God gives to every single one of us. In a world where comparison often leads to feelings of inadequacy, Psalm 139:14 serves as a reminder that we are crafted by a loving Creator who sees beauty in our differences. This understanding fosters self-acceptance and encourages us to embrace who we are, flaws and all. Acknowledging that we are "fearfully and wonderfully made" can significantly impact our mental and emotional well-being. When we internalize this truth, it enhances our self-esteem and encourages us to reject negativity, whether from within or from external sources. It reassures us that we are deserving of love, respect, and connection. Every person’s journey is distinct, but the common element remains: we are all fearfully and wonderfully made. We hope you have a wonderful week ahead. Blessings, Fred💪🏽🙏🏽

Transform our thoughts. Philippians 4:8 encourages us to intentionally focus our minds on positive, virtuous, and Godly things. This scripture serves as a powerful reminder that our thoughts shape our reality. Instead of allowing negativity and lies to cloud our minds, we can choose to align ourselves with God’s perspective. To apply this verse in our daily lives, we can start by identifying what is true, noble, right, pure, lovely, and admirable. Creating a daily practice of meditation on these qualities can transform our mindset. One effective approach is to begin each morning with a gratitude list, acknowledging the blessings in our lives. Surrounding ourselves with uplifting content, such as scripture, creating a prayer journal, or praise music, also helps reinforce this focus. When negative thoughts arise, instead of dwelling on them, we can challenge those thoughts by asking ourselves if they line up with scripture-Philippians 4:8. Remember that the mind can become a battleground, but through intentional focus on Godly virtues, we can establish a healthier and more uplifting thought life. Ultimately, choosing to embrace this truth in God's Word not only enhances our personal well-being but also reflects God’s light to those around us. Have a great week ahead💪🏽. Fred, Devotion Leader.

In the verse of John 3:20, we find a contrast between Light and darkness. This passage highlights how Jesus embodies True Light, representing righteousness and holiness. In this context, Light signifies purity and goodness, while darkness symbolizes sin, evil deeds, and ungodly living. Those practicing evil fears exposure, thus hating the True Light.  The symbolism of light and darkness serves as a powerful metaphor for our choices and the paths we take in life. However, John 3:21 offers a glimmer of hope. It emphasizes that living in truth is what God desires from us. This call to embrace truth invites us to step into the light of Jesus, rejecting the darkness of wrongdoing. It reassures us that, despite our struggles with sin, there is always a path back to righteousness through a commitment to living in honesty and integrity. Ultimately, these verses challenge us to reflect on our lives, encouraging us to choose the light that Jesus offers and to seek the truth that leads to genuine fulfillment and spiritual growth. Have a great week ahead, and allow The Lord to guide your path. Blessings. Fred, Devotion Leader🙏🏽.

This verse instructs us as believers to put our full effort into everything we do, whether at home, school, or work as if we are serving our Lord Jesus. Our motivation and what drives us should be our inheritance we will receive one day from our Lord. Our diligent work we put in daily to serve Christ and others reflect our desires to bring honor to our Heavenly Father, knowing our rewards comes from Him. So I encourage you on today. Continue to work for the Lord and reap the blessings for working for God's Kingdom in earthly places. Put into practice this week on purpose to serve someone with gladness in your workplace/school or encourage a family member and pray along with them. Have a great week ahead! Fred💪🏽

This scripture reminds us not subject ourselves to worldly standards/values & take on a renewed mindset by the Power of Holy Spirit to shape and mold us by God's Word & Prayer. God's Word has the final authority over our minds. The world's standard /view of things have no control in our lives once we accept Jesus as Lord & Savior. To "not conform" means to avoid adopting ungodly principles and "be ye transformed" by the "renewing of our minds" comes by reading, studying, & applying Scripture on a daily basis. By this, we acknowledge & accept what God says about us(Truth) •vs•what the enemy(Lies)  attempts to deceive us to be. As we read, & put to practice His Word, we allow God's good, perfect will become reality. His plan for us aligns with His Nature & now His Holy Spirit transforms us into the image of His Son, Jesus Christ. *Task* take 15-30 mins daily  to pray, read, & meditate on Scripture as Holy Spirit renews your thinking, & submit your weak areas(worldly) desires in your life to Christ! Have a super blessed week! You got this, Fred! 💪🏽

This verse history details the gates being lifted up as the Ark of the covenant enters the city of Jerusalem. King David, brings to light a two-fold discovery in these verses. Not only are the gates to be lifted physically back then so our King of Kings, Jesus Christ, "Shall Come In", but David highlights how we can as God's people open up the "Gates of our Heart"❤️ to allow Jesus, Holy Spirit Presence come in and saturate our lives!!! Glory to God! These verses gives us hope to recognize Jesus Christ as our King and Lord of Hosts, and that we to can lift up our hearts to Him and allow His Glory to overtake us!!! This verse is a beautiful invitation from God to seek and search Him wholeheartedly❤️. When we begin to seek God in the purest of heart, we begin to know God personally and intimately. We get to spend quality time in His Presence and learn His ways and our ways have less significance & priority. In our journey with seeking our Heavenly Father, we become aware of His steadfast love, care, & provision for our lives. I encourage you today to meditate on this scripture and begin to Thank God for allowing us to experience Him more in such a deep, meaningful, and beautiful way. Just knowing the Truth that the more I seek My God, & search for Him with all my heart , I will find Him and Learn to be filled & satisfied with All of His Goodness & Essence! Proverbs 11:22 Solomon compares a woman who has physical beauty but no wisdom to a gold ring stuck in a pig's nose. It is a most unfitting sight! It is an irony to see outer beauty where there is no inner beauty of soul. Far too many focus only on outward adornment but neglect to walk in the beauty of holiness with the Lord. May we all take this time and reflect on our "inner selves" to reflect more of the image and character of our Lord & Savior Jesus Christ. We pray you have a super blessed and productive week in the Lord. Blessings Always, Fred!

This Verse encourages us to embark on a journey of self -discovery & intentional living. A beautiful scripture, yet very eye opening. This verse serves as a poignant reminder that our lives are a direct reflection of our hearts. The "heart" in this context refers to a person's core or (inner being). The deep layers of a person thoughts, intentions, & character. Just as your face is seen crystal clear in "still" calm💧water; a person's outward actions are seen as an actual depiction of their internal state, (good or bad). Now is the perfect time to assess & have a real self reflection between you & God. Take a deeper look from within, examine your heart motive & lifestyle, & be honest whether it reflects the Character & Nature of God. If not my friend, there's hope! God is ready to step in and give you a ❤️ transplant to reflect Him as you display His "Fruits" of the Spirit. It all starts with what you see as a reflection in the calm water. Our lives should reflect tranquility, as we cultivate a lifestyle of aligning our hearts with God's Word! When we read daily, we will begin to see positive impact in our relationships, choices, & experiences. May we all with unveiled faces, gaze at the Glory of the Lord as beholding Him in a mirror 🪞, so that we may be transformed  into His image from Glory to Glory, through the Power of the indwelling Spirit of the Lord. Seek to die-to-self, & Live for Jesus Christ! Amen. We pray you all have a refreshing rest of your week! Blessings Fred!

The Lord desires us to be still & rest knowing He is the Great I am! Being "Still" does not mean we sit & do absolutely nothing, but we actively have faith in God & His written Word to be our very present help in times of trouble. This verse encourages a shift from worry & anxiety to one of trust & peace in His Sovereignty(Power). We can rest(letting go of the need to control circumstances) & patiently wait on the Lord to be our Helper and Guide us along the way. In times of distress, we can "Be Still" because we know God will never leave us to defend ourselves in a helpless situation. Just like the Israelites trusted in their appointed leader (Moses), God desires for us to do the same. Simply...Obey, Trust, & have Faith in His Word! Believe He is able to lead & protect you against your enemies! Ultimately, being "Still" comes with a sense of comfort & peace,  knowing God's plans are ultimately for our good!  So be confident in the Lord, &  take this invitation today to be Still in "The Great...I am that I am"! We hope you  Be uplifted this week & challenge you to read a scripture daily & meditate on God's Holy Word!💪🏽 Blessings always, Fred.
